This is a really, really long shuffleboard that had seen far better days. This 24′ (that is right 24′ of laminated maple) had been purchased from a fellow in Philadelphia and hoisted into the 7th floor of an office building thought the front windows to be the center piece of both the office environment and reflection of the office culture. A culture that knows sometimes the best ideas come from play. This project took a couple of months and two separate attempts to resurface the very twisted and warped play surface into something playable. Now it is the center of attention when you go into this clients office and is a point of intrigue for those on the elevator that see it before the doors close.
